Volunteering
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and have a wide range of experience and interest of mental distress. They benefit from peer support, appropriate training, claiming out of pocket expenses, and participating in a wide range of engagement and involvement
activities.
To become a volunteer for the Network, you will have to supply two references, undergo Enhanced Criminal Bureau Record check and attend a 3-half day induction.
Awareness Champion
To support Development Worker and Outreach Workers to provide a friendly face for the Network, encourage user involvement and feedback service user views for representation.

Project Volunteer
To support on specific projects as appropriate to business demand. This may include researching, producing documentation, representing the organisation and/or service users.

Information Champion
To help gather information and disseminate papers. Supports reporting and other writing. Help administer website.

To spread awareness on specific topics through pre-arranged meetings, talks and workshops, e.g. Stigma and Discrimination Talk.
