Staffordshire County Council
The county council provides the 800,000 people of Staffordshire with services such as schools, libraries, social services, trading standards, highways and planning.
Sixty two elected county councillors make decisions for the county and work closely with council officers.
The county council is developing and implementing a new structure, which will change the way the council works so it can deliver the very best for Staffordshire. By concentrating on 'People' and 'Place' rather than our current structure of 'Social Care and Health,' 'Children, Young People and Families' and 'Development Services,' customers will see a more efficient and joined up service from their county council.
